Description
BASS is seeking candidates for a full-time Optician (Eyewear Customer Associate) opportunity. Previous optician experience a plus yet our client is willing to train the right candidate. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service assisting patients in choosing the best eyewear to meet their needs. Successful candidates will bring attention to detail, problem solving skills, and helpful personality.

Responsibilities include yet not limited to:
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear frames and lenses and accessories based on their prescription and lifestyle
- Take accurate measurements of patients' facial features to ensure proper fit and alignment of eyewear
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed, ensuring optimal comfort and functionality for patients; assist in lab equipment maintenance
- Enter orders, create invoices, review insurance information, maintain accurate records of patient information, prescriptions, and orders using electronic systems
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions related to eyewear selection or usage
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to educate and sell eyewear and additional eyewear product;
- Proficient computer skills-ability to learn various programs pertaining to industry;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Achieve and maintain ABO certification (Optician's certification) within one year of hire date.

Great Monday thru Friday schedule with Fridays early out at 2:30 pm. Must have availability until 6:30pm 2-3 days per week. Candidate must be willing to train initially in our client's Bangor office. $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

The BASS Team is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our client's team. As the Office/Customer Service Assistant, you will be assisting the team with entering customers orders, researching products, assisting with clerical task and lots more.

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries via phone and email; Conduct outbound calls to follow up with customers or provide additional information as needed
- Enjoy assisting customer inquiries with product information, order status, and issue resolution
- Perform precise data entry to update customer orders and maintain accurate information in the system.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous office and customer service experience
- Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
