Cathy and her two partners, Edward Moran and Peter E. Dunn, Jr., opened the corporate office of CASS in March of 2003, followed by their first branch, Bangor Area Staffing Solutions, in 2011. She has been in the staffing industry since 1996, and has attended countless human resources conferences and trainings since that time. Cathy currently serves on the Augusta Board of Trade, the Committee on Judicial Conduct, and the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce. Active memberships include the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, the National Federation for Independent Business, the National Rifle Association, the Kennebec Valley Human Resource Association, the Maine Staffing Association, the American Staffing Association and the Society for Human Resource Management. An avid hunter, Cathy and her husband live in Vassalboro with their labs, Buck and Trapper.

Branch Manager - Augusta Office

Dawn is the Branch Manager of our corporate office in Augusta. She, Cathy, and Nettie have a long history, having all started their staffing careers together at another firm back in the late 1990's. Dawn has placed thousands of individuals in both temporary and permanent positions in Central Maine, and her knowledge of our client base and culture, and expertise in placing just the right candidate, has made her an invaluable member – not only to our Team, but to our clients! Often, we hear "the greatest value that we have in working with you is that you really listen to our needs and only refer candidates that are qualified to fit our position and culture." Dawn is an active member of the Kennebec Valley Human Resource Association, and she and her family live in Chelsea.

Nettie M. Kilby

Nettie joined BASS in May of 2011, when she opened the first branch office in Bangor. She brings extensive management and human resources experience, in addition to working in the staffing industry with Cathy and Dawn for 12 years!

The key to the success for any business or organization is finding good quality employees! Nettie enjoys being part of a team that contributes to the success of their clients in the Greater Bangor area through the placement of qualified candidates. In addition to managing the Bangor office, Nettie serves on both the Board and the Membership Committee of the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the HR Association of Eastern Maine, a current member of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) and a member of Bangor Breakfast Business Networking International. Nettie and her husband Bill are lifelong "Mainers" and reside in Holden.

A Colby College graduate, Chris was new to the staffing industry when he joined our Team in 2018 as an Administrative Assistant. Since then, he has not only attained the designation of Certified Staffing Professional from the American Staffing Association, but also worked his way up to Staffing Supervisor! His outstanding customer service skills, close attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly have made him a wonderful and much valued addition to our Bangor office. A Maine Native, Chris lives in Milford and in his free time can be found with his nose stuck in a good book, or cheering on our New England sports teams, especially the Patriots!
