Full-time, Contract to Hire opportunities available with our well-known and respected manufacturing client! Do you enjoy working with your hands in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, team environment? Do you like the idea of working no more than 3 days in a row, and having a 3-day weekend every other week? How about automatic overtime, every other week? This could be the job for you! Position will involve:

• Visually inspecting product for defects
• Manually transferring the product into packaging
• Preparing packaged product for shipment
• Preparing packing materials and making sure the product, packing material and
labels meet specifications
• Keep up to date all job-related documents
• Understand and follow safety rules
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area
• Communicate any quality or production issues to Supervisors
• Possess a positive attitude with other co-workers

Shifts currently available:
6:30 am to 6:30 pm - $19.55/hr.

Requirements
Position requires frequent lifting and carrying, reaching and standing for long periods of time; occasional kneeling, crawling and climbing.
Strong work ethic; minimal absenteeism
Ability to work a 12-hour shift; overtime available
Two good employment references; HS Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to satisfy requirements of a criminal background check

Production Associate in Bangor, ME
Description
The BASS Team is seeking a motivated Production Associate to join our client's team. As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, assisting in fabricating materials and assembling those with electronic components to build their products in a collaborative environment. This is a Full-time, Direct-hire opportunity with a great schedule of Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm. Summer early-out on Fridays available and possible options for a 4-day work week.

Responsibilities:
-Fabricate and assemble parts to produce high-quality electronics products
-Perform assembly tasks, including soldering and use of hand tools
-Read and interpret data from measuring instruments, blue prints
-Learn various aspects of production operations
Requirements
Qualifications:
-Experience with hand tools and ability to read blueprints preferred, or willingness to learn
-Wants to learn! Quick learner with flexibility to cross-train and work in different production areas
-Troubleshooting skills and problem-solving ability
-Capability to lift and move materials within the facility (up to 30 to 50 lbs)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Description
BASS is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Inspector (QAI) as a Direct Hire for our manufacturing client, who fabricates and assembles electronic components to produce world class products. Our client is willing to train the right candidate seeking a career in electronic manufacturing. Great starting pay of $20+/hr (depending on experience), plus benefits!

This position offers a full benefit package with a great schedule of Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm. Ideal candidates will bring QA experience and/or manufacturing experience (with a preference in electronics). Experience in ISO standards, internal auditing, and/or continuous improvement with a history of troubleshooting issues also a plus.

Some of the primary tasks to include:

-Electrical, Mechanical, and Visual Inspection of items used and manufactured;
-Input data of inspection results and generate reports;
-Auditing of work in progress by checking conformance to documentation;
-Monitor the status and calibration of tools and/or equipment;.
-Responsible for recognizing potential problems and escalating these.
Requirements
-Previous manufacturing experience, especially in a quality role or working with electronics, preferred
-Be able to troubleshoot and provide solutions to problems;
-Have the ability to read and understand blueprints, ECR's, Standard Operating Procedures, Workmanship Standards, parts lists, drawings and DWA's;
-Have attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team.
-ISO internal auditor training a plus.
-Some heavy lifting; Regular carrying and lifting of goods up to 30lb; Pushing/Pulling requirements; movement of material; bending; sitting; standing; reaching.

Sr. Materials Manager in Pittsfield, ME
Description
Full-time, Direct Hire opportunity!

Position oversees all aspects of purchasing, inventory control, production scheduling and materials management, ensuring a timely and cost-effective flow of goods across manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping operations.

Managing a team of Buyers, an Asst. Buyer, Warehouse Supv., and the Production Scheduler, driving efficiency and accuracy. Maintain Supplier relationships, negotiate shipping and logistics contracts, and ensure data integrity.

This position also plays a pivotal role in planning and implementing a new ERP platform, and leading staff training on new systems and processes.

CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Prof'l) certification is preferred.

$105K - $125K DOE.
Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in a relative field; 7+ yrs. with progressively responsible experience in materials management, purchasing, or supply chain operations; 3+ yrs of supervisory experience; strong working knowledge of MS Office; experience in demand forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory optimization

Physical requirements: ability to frequently walk through warehouse environment, sit/stand for extended periods of time; occasional bend/reach/lift up to 25 lbs.; occasional travel to supplier locations
